  • Variant calling using GATK4 command line workflow

    19 October 2022

    North Melbourne, Australia

Variant calling using GATK4 command line workflow https://dresa.org.au/events/variant-calling-using-gatk4-command-line-workflow This workshop aims to introduce participants to variant calling using command line applications. The material follows the GATK variant calling best practices workflow and provides an introduction to tools, datatypes and file formats associated with variant calling. The workshop will use a test llumina sequencing dataset to progress through the workflow from aligning sequencing reads to a reference genome before applying the GATK best practices workflow to call genetic variants (SNVs and Indels) in test data. 2022-10-19 10:00:00 UTC 2022-10-19 14:00:00 UTC Melbourne Bioinformatics 21 Bedford Street, North Melbourne, Australia 21 Bedford Street North Melbourne Australia 3051 University of MelbourneMelbourne Bioinformatics bioinformatics-training@unimelb.edu.au [] Researchers and research students, or anyone who wants to learn intermediate statistical concepts to apply in R. 20 [] host_institution Variant callingGATK4
